About Us
At Enhanced Care, we know the importance of primary care and family practice in everyone's health and wellness. Our conveniently located clinics are open for extended hours to look after the needs of our patients and our communities. With a team of skilled individuals working alongside with over 50 family physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, our goal is to get our patients healthy, quickly and safely. As we continue to expand, we look for qualified practitioners and staff who have the passion to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

Summary: Medical Assistant will assist physicians and providers in the clinic to ensure efficient patient flow and care process.
Locations:
- Thornhill - 7335 Yonge Street, Thornhill, L3T 2B2
- Aurora - 13872 Yonge Street, Aurora, L4G 1N2
** Applicants that can work at multiple locations will be considered first **
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to clinic supervisor/manager, Medical Assistant provide administrative support to the entire clinic, including but not limited to: register patients, answer phone, book appointments, follow up on consults/results
- Lab technician - responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient collection of specimens and other clinic procedures- Provide assistance to doctors and allied health providers- Perform other duties related to clinic operations
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin - required
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience, including non-medical fields - an asset
- Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn - required
- Proficient in computer - required
- Completed an accredited MLA course and certification - an asset
- Ability to work at multiple locations - preferred
- New grads from Science, Medical Office Admin or MLA programs welcome (training available)
